This post is if you plan to interact with Tom frequently -- because if he finds you fascinating, he will look.

2. Say hell to Hyourinmaru, Tom. He looks very scary. I generally assume that Hyourinmaru only steps in when someone starts digging too deep. If he does interfere, however, he will alert Hitsugaya, and Hitsugaya will know something went down.
3. Aside from the usual insecurities, pretty much just Hinamori and Sasuke and Rei and all those guys. You see, he tends to stab them a lot. This bothers him.
1. Go for it.
2. No mental barriers whatsoever. Once you get in, you've got access to it all.
3. He's got this lovely little idea in his head, see. That he will get his friends killed. (Sob, all my characters are afraid of this. What even.) And he will end up all alone, crawling back home to revert to his former self, the "Passionless Puppet of Darkness." There is an entire musical dedicated to this shit. He will freeze up at the mention of it.

3) She nurses a set of double standards as wide as the world, speaking of integrity, honesty and all those glorious things while in reality, she is supporting an anti-social sociopath of a husband with carrying out his plan of ruling Luxembourg (God knows why; it's his thing). Generally, she ascribes everyone - especially Jean Louis - the noblest intentions, but at the same time she is no innocent and well aware of the evils of the world, accepting them for what they are. Another contradiction. You can list them all this way, in the personality section of her app.

2. Not really, outside of the garden variety not-trusting-anyone-or-anything personality, a career prerequisite.
3. Control issues. He actually hates it when he can't be in control of his life, which is ironic considering that he signed said life away in service to a company whose ideals and practices he doesn't particularly agree with. Guilt complex. Stepping up to be the one to drop an entire eighth of the most inhabited city on his planet onto the slums below, killing who knows how many innocents in the process, really did a number on him though it's a topic he refuses to talk about.
Arya/
1. She's getting really good at lying to people to their faces! But her mind's an open book.
2. Not really, though she has lived as over a dozen different identities over the past three years and can fairly easily slip into new roles at this point, as the situation requries it. That might be only an initial hurdle. Beyond, it's smooth sailing.
3. Arya has a lot of hate for a lovely list of people~~ Ser Gregor, Dunsen, Raff the Sweetling, Ser Ilyn, Ser Meryn, Queen Cersei. It's an incredibly malicious sort of loathing. She wants them all dead dead dead. Beyond that.. well.. she's kind of lost everything that's ever mattered to her already, except for her 'wolf dreams', so that would probably be the last thing left to her that would pose as a real weakness.

3. His main weakness is greediness because it leads to him having way too many secrets. Generally, Tom is welcome to KNOW these things (JL having had Mireille's father killed, etc.) - but I'd rather he didn't make use of this knowledge in game unless we've talked about it first. <3

Rin can hear the thoughts of other demonic creatures and ghosts, so this could be counter productive if Tom was trying to hear Rin's thoughts when he was listening to someone else's own thoughts. Maybe even Rin could unintentionally hear Tom? I’m not sure.
3. If he can get into your mind, what type of weaknesses does your character have?
Rin used to suffer from black outs as a child, where he would become extremely violent and send many people to the hospital because of the injuries he would give them. His greatest fear is that this will happen again with those he cares for as the victims. Not surprisingly he's very defensive of his family and friends. His

Like doors, just some are locked. Always welcome to try picking the lock or busting them down, but don't think he won't notice~
3) 8| WELL GEE. His friends, his companions, AND once he realizes there's his past self here, he won't be introducing himself as the Doctor, and will be going through certain lengths and jumping through hoops to keep that hidden. SO FEEL FREE TO LORD THAT OVER HIM, TOM. Um otherwise. Daleks and the Time War are the big ones. And humans being stupid, but you know.

3. What kind of weaknesses? 'Cause physically he's really weak. Mentally he's pretty... Strong willed but passive in a way? 3. She's been way too trusting of people lately! Meeting nice people has made her pretty optimistic with Adstring residents. Want to look for something to say that'd knock her off guard, it might be a bit deeper, but she's still sensitive from having to bring Genkai's spirit to Reikai, having watched pieces of Kurama get blown off bit by bit, and not knowing if he survived the final attack on Karasu.

03. Pretty much in the similar vein as Rin. He regrets not being able to do more to keep his adoptive father from being possessed and killed, and he fears not being strong enough to protect Rin now. Add on his feelings that despite all he's done to become more than the crybaby he once was, he still feels like he can't catch up to his twin. There's also the doubt from being told from two different people that his way of keeping his feelings locked up is basically setting him up on the road for becoming a demon on accident.

Except... the only Occlumens she knows of in the vicinity is someone she doesn't trust. So aside from basic not-making-eye-contact and repeating an annoying song over and over again to block out her own thoughts, she doesn't have much to help her.
3. Fear of failure, lack of imagination, near-inability to improvise, a quiet penchant for Gryffindor heroics, Ron and Harry (and Remus and Sirius and all her friends here), and you likely know of anything else.

She's afraid she'll let slip that Romeo killed Tybalt and it'll really ruin any chance of reconciliation. She doesn't want Bubbles to suffer or be sad ever. Friends are another big weakness - she hates seeing her friends in trouble. Feeling helpless. Capulet stubbornness and temper rearing its ugly head at bad times. All I'd ask is to not use the Tybalt-dying thing without permission. Anything else is fair game.

3. A few years ago, Kurapica's entire clan was slaughtered, and he's the last surviving member. So, all kinds of PTSD/angst issues. The group that slaughtered his clan was called the Spiders, and Kurapica broke them apart, but he never got to take his revenge on their leader in blood. He did kill one member of the Spiders, which really shook him up afterward. You have a lot to work with, here. xD

2) The only thing that might stop him is the other inhabitant in Frau's mind. The rest of Tom's soul would very much be at risk of being devoured if he got too close to it's host.
3) Frau's main weakness isn't really in Adstring, but his biggest weakness otherwise would likely be the people he truly cares about. That and himself.

2) Not really. He hasn't had any training or anything to block people out. I don't even know if that exists in his world...
3) Bon is a really emotional guy. He jumps the gun a lot, especially when he's confused or feel like his ideals are being attacked so that is a huge in for him. That and the people he loves.

Everything he does now relates to when he was a child: soldiers came to destroy his village, his powers awakened so he killed the soldiers, accidentally killing his mother as well. he was then taken to the palace as a powerful warrior and, since he was pretty, became the emperor's new toy, suffering sexual abuse all during growing up. /forgive the tl'dr, but these are exactly what the people who peek into his heart in canon see XD

Date: 2011-07-21 11:02 am (UTC)Yes, Tom can read Sulio's mind - he may even have an easier than usual time doing it, because of Sulio's projecting empathy. Chances are Sulio will notice it, though, because he's been around psychics all his life and has been trained to be aware of these things. He doesn't have defenses, really, he's just alert to his mind being touched.
3. Weaknesses... well, he doesn't know that he has powers, and he is incredibly resentful of supposedly having no powers. Sounds relevant to Tom's interests I think XD. He also has a rather deeply hidden contempt toward normal people. I don't know if it's a weakness but... brain full of hypocrisy on this one. Enjoy!
