OOC: PERMISSIONS

Tom is a Legilimens. This means he can read your mind -- and, if he has the need to, he probably will. Every secret, every ability, every nightmare and memory -- his, for the taking. This post is if you plan to interact with Tom frequently -- because if he finds you fascinating, he will look.

SO WHAT I NEED FROM YOU IS:

1. Can Tom read your character's mind?
2. Is there anything to stop him from doing so?
3. If he can get into your mind, what type of weaknesses does your character have?

1. (Copied from own permissions post under mind reading) It's entirely possible to look into Botan's head. Unless she's expecting or notices it, I can't imagine that she'd be able to stop the mental intrusion. If your character generally only reads human minds, there might be some trouble due to trying to read something not human.
2. Personal ability, I can't remember how well legilimency is against non-humans, and in many cases nothing at all!
3. She's been way too trusting of people lately! Meeting nice people has made her pretty optimistic with Adstring residents. Want to look for something to say that'd knock her off guard, it might be a bit deeper, but she's still sensitive from having to bring Genkai's spirit to Reikai, having watched pieces of Kurama get blown off bit by bit, and not knowing if he survived the final attack on Karasu.
